01 Layers of protection
Most break-ins are opportunistic, so the first job of a security system is to make your home look and behave like a hard target. Outdoor detectors and sirens deter at the compound wall. Door and window sensors catch entry. Curtain and motion detectors protect the interior. Cameras and photo-verifying detectors tell you whether an alarm is real.
We plan each layer on your floor plan, then decide where wireless is ideal and where wired cameras or door stations make more sense. Everything reports to one app, so your family isn't juggling five logins.
02 Ajax wireless security
Ajax hubs communicate with detectors over Jeweller, an encrypted two-way radio protocol with a range of up to 2,000 m in open space. Devices are polled continuously, so tampering, low batteries and lost connections are reported — not silently ignored. Detectors run for years on their batteries.

The hub is the brain of the system. We specify hubs with Ethernet and cellular backup (and Wi-Fi where supported), plus a backup battery, so alerts reach you even during power cuts or broadband outages.
Fire, smoke and heat detection protects bedrooms, the home theater equipment rack and the kitchen, with gas-leak detection planned for kitchens and utility areas. Safety alerts sound and notify you even when the security system is disarmed.
Indoor and outdoor sirens, wall keypads and key fobs for family members, with app control and event history. Night mode arms the perimeter while you move freely inside.
03 Doors & cameras
An IP door station at the gate and main door with indoor monitors on each floor and call forwarding to your phone. Speak to couriers from the office, check visitors before staff opens the gate, and review a log of who called. Multi-floor villas get intercom between floors.

Fingerprint, PIN, RFID card and app unlocking with a mechanical key override and emergency power contacts. Issue time-limited codes for drivers, cooks and guests, and see every entry in the log. We check door thickness, material and handing before recommending a model.

4K (8MP) IP cameras on PoE with an NVR sized for the retention you need, colour night vision for driveways, and weather-rated housings for Hyderabad summers and monsoon. Remote viewing runs over a secured network segment, not an open port.

04 Planning notes
We start with a walk of the property: compound wall, gates, driveway, servants' entrance, terrace access and every glazed opening. We note where staff move during the day and where pets roam at night, so detectors are chosen and angled to avoid false alarms.
For apartments, the focus is the main door, balcony sliders and a reliable VDP. For villas and estates in Jubilee Hills or Kokapet, outdoor detection, gate VDPs and camera coverage of approaches matter most. Signal levels are verified on every floor before handover.
Security also depends on the network. Cameras, the hub and door stations sit on a dedicated, managed segment of your EDN network.

Ajax uses its Jeweller two-way radio protocol with a range of up to 2,000 m in open space, encrypted communication and regular polling of every device. In multi-floor RCC villas we survey signal levels and add ReX range extenders where slabs reduce the signal, so every device reports reliably.
No. Ajax detectors, sirens and keypads are battery powered and wireless, so they install on finished walls in apartments and villas without chiselling. Only the hub needs power and ideally an Ethernet connection.
The Ajax hub has a backup battery and can use multiple communication paths — Ethernet, cellular SIM and, on supported models, Wi-Fi — so alerts still reach your phone if one path fails.
Yes. An IP video door phone forwards the call to your smartphone, so you can see and speak to visitors, and with a compatible smart lock, open the door for family or staff remotely.
As an indicative guide, a combined package of Ajax security, video door phone, smart locks and villa Wi-Fi ranges from about ₹1.2 lakhs for an apartment to ₹4.2 lakhs for a multi-floor villa, depending on floors, cameras and perimeter sensors.
